Obsession by Kat Von D

So it all started when I received the 500 point gift from being a Sephora Beauty Insider, the Kat Von D Rock'n'Roll Palette.

Because I do not own TV I had very little idea who this Kat Von D was but the matte black packaging and beautiful design sparked my interest. While the pigmentation in the palette is not the best, the color choices are very nice. After watching the whole first season of LA Ink on Netflix it was off to Sephora to see what else I could find... The Tattoo concealer, is just that a tattoo concealer. Great coverage and water resistant it's perfect for anyone covering up tattoos, birthmarks, or scars. It may be a bit too heavy for acne prone skin, I broke out horribly after using it.

The Autograph Eyeliner is really nice. A fine brush tip, great constancy and even better colors. I want to own them all!

I only got one of the Lightning Sheer Lip glosses. Gunshine, a beautiful sheer back with shimmer. Love black lip gloss seem much crazier than it is. Black gloss is the perfect way to intensify any lip color. Over all they are very nice but not extremely special, not quite worth $18.

But my real obsession is with this... Kat Von D's Sinner. Such a hard fragrance to describe and not at all "me". Which is why this roller ball perfume is perfect for only $16. I described it to a friend as the perfume I would were if I were a rock star. Slap this on with my MAC paintpot in blackground, poof! Instant bad ass. It is thick and sweet while still being young and fun. It totally reminds me of an LA night, I lived there for two years and at night the town fills with the sweet smell of Jasmin. The warm earthy sent musk from those bad biker boys speeding down the freeway. Cinnamon and Vanilla from my Coffee Bean chai tea latte. Mmmmmm

Knowing me I'll probably go out and buy the 1 oz Eau de Parfum Spray because, well, look at the bottle.

Bad Blogger, Bad!

So I know I have been a really bad beauty blogger. I'm more of talker than a writer but I am determined to get back on the horse. Starting today I will be posting a lot more. I figure the more I do it the better I will get. HAZZAA!!!

Mad Scientist...

I went to CVS tonight and pick up three things, honey, glue, and aspirin. These are all for homemade masks to treat acne. The honey and aspirin are for a BHA mask and the glue is for a Biore style peel mask, I've heard this doesn't work but the glue was so cheap and I just have to know. I am excited to try them out. I'll let you know how they go.

Benefit, Cargo, and OPI for Sephora

So I stopped by Sephora to return some face wash, Dermadoctor's Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser, it is totally harsh...I digress. So I am in Sephora and I see this
It is a new set from CARGO - "7 in 7 Kit - Light Medium gets you pretty, polished, and out the door in 7 minutes. These products are must-have essentials for every woman and are double-duty time-savers (and offered at an incredible value!). Application instructions are included with a convenient static-cling decal that you can stick on your bathroom mirror."
What an awesome set! So of course I picked it up along with a few other things.

Swatches and all that good stuff will be added in a bit...it's gloomy out.

BADgal Mascaras

bad gal plum and bad gal blue

I love this stuff. The plum color really brings out the green in my eyes and the blue really brightens them. The mascara it's self isn't anything special but I just have not found any other mascara that delivers the same results.

Color Plump

yoo hoo

This color is not faltering on my skin tone, way too bronze and as you can tell I am see though.

The gloss

Curfew

California Kissin'

California Kissin'

Very minty.

Hoola

Hoola

Again too dark, I think I may give this to a friend.

High Beam

High Beam

I like this a lot. I've used Moon Beam and thought this may be too silvery but it is actually very subtle and nice.

Hello There...

Hey guys

I decided to start a blog to go along with my YouTube videos so you can see better pictures of the stuff I buy (or get for free...I love freebies!) I not much of a writer but that's not what this is about...enjoy!
